Twisted pair cabling allows the cancelling out of electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external sources; for instance, from other unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables, whilst also eliminating crosstalk between neighbouring pairs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 0.16in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We install 2 main types of twisted pair cable. In contrast to shielded twisted pair (STP) unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable is not surrounded by any shielding. UTP cable is our most commonly installed cable type due to its high flexibility. We tend to only install STP cables where the prevention of electromagnetic interference is absolutely necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 0.16in;\"><span style=\"color: #135cae;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Category 5e<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 0.16in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Category 5e is a popular standard of copper twisted pair network cabling. \u00a0It is an enhanced version of the category 5 standard, which has now been all but superseded by this enhanced specification. Adhering to more stringent standards than its predecessor, category 5e cable is capable of transmitting data at speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. As this gigabit speed of data transmission is adequate for most everyday usage, category 5e networks are tend to be the most cost-effective solutions for our customers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; line-height: 0.16in;\"><span style=\"color: #135cae;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Category 6<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 0.16in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Category 6 cable is designed to perform at frequencies of up to 250 MHz. \u00a0Offering a higher performance than a category 5e solution, category 6 cable is capable of providing a better quality of data transmission at gigabit speed.
