Rosillo.Net specialize in data cabling installations, sometimes referred to as ‘structured cabling installations’. We carefully install networks of copper and fiber optic data cables that will allow the telecommunications infrastructure of your organization to function as efficiently as possible.
Using centralized 19 inch patch panels, rack-mounted into data cabinets, the data cables are patched into either a network switch for network use or into an IP or PBX telephone system patch panel. We then terminate the data cables, before connecting with a patch lead at the cabinet end and a fly lead at the device end and test for performance.

This is the wiring of a building which enables basic telecommunications systems including land-based phone lines, modems and analog lines to function. We install Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, which enable the efficient delivery of voice communications over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. VoIP is now widely used and has become a key tool for modern business.
Local Area Network
We install local area networks (LAN’s) which will supply networking capability to a group of terminals that lie in close proximity to one another. Local area networks are commonplace in office buildings, schools, care homes and other large buildings where there is the need to share resources such as files, printers, games or other applications.
We install twisted pair copper cabling to enable gigabit Ethernet to your desktop. Twisted pair cabling allows the cancelling out of electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external sources; for instance, from other unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables, whilst also eliminating crosstalk between neighbouring pairs.
We install 2 main types of twisted pair cable. In contrast to shielded twisted pair (STP) unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable is not surrounded by any shielding. UTP cable is our most commonly installed cable type due to its high flexibility. We tend to only install STP cables where the prevention of electromagnetic interference is absolutely necessary.
Category 5e is a popular standard of copper twisted pair network cabling. It is an enhanced version of the category 5 standard, which has now been all but superseded by this enhanced specification. Adhering to more stringent standards than its predecessor, category 5e cable is capable of transmitting data at speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. As this gigabit speed of data transmission is adequate for most everyday usage, category 5e networks are tend to be the most cost-effective solutions for our customers.
Category 6 cable is designed to perform at frequencies of up to 250 MHz. Offering a higher performance than a category 5e solution, category 6 cable is capable of providing a better quality of data transmission at gigabit speed. However as very few, if any, applications currently in existence actually require 250 MHz of bandwidth to function, category 6 is installed primarily as a form of future-proofing data networks.
